Work is not something we chase to become someone new. It's the practice of reclaiming the sovereignty that was always yours, buried under everything the world asked you to become, and it's the foundational core beneath everything at Forge and Flow.
NOTE: A video version of this is below, if you prefer to watch it.
Three Pillars, One Foundational Core
The Forge and Flow Sanctum is built upon three foundational pillars: nourish with purpose, move with purpose, and work with purpose. These three pillars are not independent. They're interconnected to create a living framework. Working within this holistic framework, with awareness of how we live every day, is how we bring harmony back to the body: what we call harmonic restoration. When we nourish, move, and work with real purpose, we can release our inner splendor for all to see, and have it radiate out into the world. That is what the Forge and Flow Sanctum is really about.
Who We Are
We're Mark and Natalie, and we created the Forge and Flow Sanctum, a nonprofit health ministry. We call it a sanctum because it's a sacred space, free from intrusion, a place where you can feel comfortable talking about anything you need to. It's really a place to rediscover balance in this very unbalanced world, going back within and finding all of that wonderful splendor within you.
Unbecoming
It's not about becoming something better, something more, something new. It's about unbecoming what was never really you, all the layers that were added onto you just by living in this very stressful modern world. It's a place to nourish yourself, move your body, and invigorate yourself through purposeful living, and a place to feel some joy and laughter, because we don't try to take everything so seriously all the time.
Reclaiming Sovereignty
This is about the third pillar, work with purpose: what it means to reclaim sovereignty when the work you do every day just doesn't really feel like you, and ways to actually bring that home. This isn't about going and finding purpose. This is actually about rediscovering what is already there.
This is about winding and weaving what is ours to claim and what is not ours, because we are in a time of great change. Many corporations of the old world, and the ways things used to work, aren't working anymore. The entire old systems are crumbling and falling.
Practical Tools for Liberation
So what's needed? Practical tools to build toward something that lights you up. Maybe it's looking at how you can take what you've done and package it up into something else. We provide workshops on storytelling, on branding, on simple design, and technology, for more independence, not reliance. Because when your inner creative is completely liberated, that's more of that inner splendor being revealed.
Genuine support is what we're really looking at: truly heart-centered souls who want to help affect change in this world for the greater good of all. Forge and Flow, again, is not about becoming something more. It's about unbecoming what was never you, and that's where we're really deriving this work with purpose pillar, creating workshops, or play shops, around this topic, because this is more vital than ever before.
Come Back Home
We invite you to check out the Forge and Flow Sanctum. It's really a path to come back to your body, to yourself, to remember what home feels like in here, not out there, and to create more vitality within yourself, not seeking that external all the time. If any of this resonates with you, we'd love for you to join us.
There's More To This Pillar
This video walks you into the layers of WORK that is the third core spiral to everything we do here in our ministry, the insights we offer, the things we explore... RECLAIMED SOVEREIGNTY and even INTO THE LIBERATION OF WHAT YOU'VE ALWAYS KNOWN (the CREATIVE and our calling).
This is Pillar 3 of 3, one of the three foundational pillars of the Forge and Flow Sanctum. Work with purpose closes out the framework that began with nourish with purpose and moved through move with purpose. Together these three build what we call harmonic restoration.
