What does vitality do in the body? And give some overall insights as to  our perspectives because each of us actually  have come at this from different angles in learnings so we wanted to share that with you because that's a huge component to what the Forge and Flow container in the sanctum as a whole is focused on.

While there are many parts, this is a very vital part.

Good use of the word there.

      Thanks.

From an official definition standpoint,   vitality is the capacity to live, grow, or develop the characteristic principle or force that distinguishes living things from non-living things.

Or the physical or intellectual,  or even could also say the emotional, spiritual vigor, the energy or liveliness. Vigor is an interesting word too.  It can speak to the physical or mental strength, energy, the force behind things. The enthusiasm or intensity of something.  So vitality, is that what makes the seed pop out?

And go through the earth and reach for the sun and start to put out leaves and flowers and reach higher and higher while rooting down.  That is vitality.  What makes our lungs expand and contract When we breathe, what makes our hearts beat? What makes our blood flow? What makes our emotions work?

Those are all things that are part of what vitality means, but at the end of the day, how strong is that vitality? How easily does it work? Or how forced does it need to be?

And it should be in a constant state of flow and balance so that we don't have to force things,  but we don't want to be on complete autopilot where we're not even conscious about these things too.

So there's always that fine balance in there.

Yeah. And prana is a great word, a Sanskrit word as many of you already know. And that's an interesting etymology to get into as well.  And it means to breathe or to draw in breath. So like you were talking about what fills our lungs, what is the force that allows the lungs to be filled?

And there are distinct forces that are emanating from the sun, that are emanating from our planet.   And these are cosmic or divine forces. Some say God's source. Some say creation  that doesn't really matter as much as Chinese.

Call it Qi, right? Qi. Yeah. And actually we have a book that'll be available mark delved into every culture that has had some kind of name around this and. And you can come at this from so many different angles around this world, but it's this concept of this animating principle, this electrifying every subatomic particle to life, into life. And prana in also means life force. So like we were just saying, this energy, this force that animates and sustains life.

But it's the energy and the and the aspect behind the very forces in which we know, like the elements, the air element for example. So it's a force behind these elements that even allow these elements to exist.  And when you get into think about water, think about like a stream running or a river or the ocean tides.

Exactly. So there's a force behind all of these things Yeah. That are generating the propulsion and the movement. Yeah. And it's not plugged into a wall somewhere. The streams don't have batteries. They're run by some eternal primordial force that is inherent to all living things.

And we can even say that water is a living thing.

And that could be a whole video in and of itself, about the life force energy behind these elements like water, fire, wind, earth, all of these things that we know, that we feel that we can touch, that can have effects on things they do very much have a life force

there are hymns even when you get into the Vedas and such, and it's these hymns are speaking to this prana, which is this ineffable life source and influence on the natural world and celebrating the joy, abundance that is brought through even in the rain, the thunder, the flourishing of a vegetation.  And so it's this underlying principle really, of the living natural world. So we also wanted to, we'll get into some other aspects, but we wanted to talk about, like, how does one turn on vitality? And this is literally the foundational principles of what Forge and Flow is built on. So we could speak for years on this because there's a million ways to do these things, but we just thought we'd give some of our vision and our insights and our perspectives without making it a 47 hour long video.

I don't think anyone would watch that either. That would take a long time to upload, I think.

If I think about this from my lens it's really vital to look at vitality from all the vibrational layers and levels. So we are multidimensional beings, too often obviously it's easy to get stuck in this.

This world that we see, we can touch people and things, we can, but there's a whole aspect to the beingness of all things that is not seen on a daily basis. And that is a vital component to thinking of where Vital vitality actually lives within the essence of our beings and when we are turning on vitality.

It's really drawing that breath of the life force in and allowing that life force to distribute throughout the body properly and then to create that exhaust system because when you create energy, there's also a component that needs to be let go of. There's an exhaust system. So that whole system on all vibrational layers and levels needs to be working The way that I look at some foundational principles it's about anchoring into the body. So one thing about vitality and the life force and all of these aspects that we're talking about, it can't be felt unless you're anchored in.

In the body. And it's easy to want to not be in the body. I spent many years trying to figure out how to get out of the body running going into those states of awareness where you're not attached out of body experiences, things like this. But that's a really foundational component is getting into the body, anchoring into the body, and there's.

A lot more around that. But when we see ourselves as multidimensional, we realize that what has been called, going back into these ancient or primordial healing practices, the chakra system, it's pretty simple. Yet it's extremely complex profound. Profound. Yeah. And I don't really say chakras anymore because as I have had visions and knowings on this, it's, these are actual stargates connecting our essence into other realms simultaneously.

Yeah. Gateways. This is similar to the accupoints and acupuncture, the meridians. These are portals essentially within us. Yep. Yep. And around us that connect us. Yep. Yep. And here's a quick blurb on that because I think that this cartoon spelled it out so clearly and perfectly and we obviously we love Avatar cartoon. It was amazing series. So here's a little blurb on that in order to master the Avatar State you must open all the chakras.  Ang, tell me everything you know about chakras. What are chakras? Oh, I see. I guess we'll start with the basics. The water flows through this creek, much like the energy flows through your body. As you see, there are several pools where the water swirls around before flowing on.

These pools are like our chakras. So chakras are pools of spiraling energy in our bodies. Exactly. If nothing else were around, this creek would flow pure and clear. However, life is messy and things tend to fall in the creek. And then what happens? The creek can't flow. Yes. But if we open the paths between the pools, the energy flows.

Now we're going to go into some of these details, but I just wanted to share as well. Purifying and cleansing. So getting back into the purity and organic nature of our bodies as sacred temples. Not allowing synthetic aspects in. These are important points. Being able to feel what life force, what vitality actually even.

Feels because once you feel that you never not want to feel that again. And that, but there are days where you just can't feel it too.

You can't always strive to feel this vitality all the time. 'cause then you might be forcing it and there are gonna be days where there's gonna be stressors happening and emotional imbalances happening. That's part of the wave of of life that's forging and flowing, isn't it? But to know, to feel that vitality. You will want more of it. Yeah. You will want to seek out ways to achieve that more, but know that things ebb and flow at the same time. Yeah, it's totally it. And it's easy to forget that on days when you wake up and you're like, man, that was a rough night.

And everyone that is here in this experience. Has those nights, has those days, has those experiences. But the other side to this is strengthening.

We don't spend enough time in this realm talking about strengthening our bodies. And I'm not talking about going to the gym and lifting 3000 pounds and you know what I used to do?  I used to go to the gym so much that I was like obsessed .

I really put my body into too much stress we'll go into this too. Those are things that actually can lead us away from our experiencing our own vitality in our own way.

And there's many other things, but mineral rebalancing in our bodies is so important, so imperative, movement practices tapping into the universal stream of life, from meditation and all of these things. This is really if I were to say it in one little, little snippet, like how does one turn it on?

It's really about recognizing and seeing the divine spirit within, and then allowing that spirit to be invigorated through going back to what was simple, pure, and organic.

Yeah. So one of the many. I would, I don't wanna say easy, but simple ways to get this vitality back on is through conscious breathing. So we   take a first breath when we enter this world and we take a last breath upon exiting this world.  And in between that expanse, our lifetime, we have a whole symphony of breaths.

It's estimated that the average person breathes up to about 20,000 times per day. Per day. So times that without thinking, without even knowing, without thinking, just it's on autopilot and thankfully it's on autopilot. We don't want to have to force ourselves to breathe. That would be way too labor intensive and stressful and energy depleting at the same time.

But in between these first and last breaths, we have a countless amount of breaths that we just don't even consider. When we bring our conscious awareness to these breaths through breath work, that changes a fundamental component of how we operate.

For one, it calms us down. It just helps us slow down from the craziness of the day, from the craziness of life, and just anchoring into that essential. Core concept of what makes us alive is breathing. That in turn stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which is one of the two parts of the main autonomic nervous system, and that is  responsible for the relaxation response.

So again, bringing us back to that, the rest, digest, rest, the rest and digest phase versus the stress phase, which is essential to living. Stress is important in acute situations, but in chronic situations, which it has become in this world. Yeah, we need to bring our conscious awareness to the fact that we need to just slow down and just calm down and reset.

Another thing that the breath does is it helps to dilate the blood vessels, so that has huge implications and profound benefits by just. Bringing the blood through our system much more effectively and efficiently creating better circulation, but also delivering oxygen and nutrients throughout the body much more efficiently,

      like to those subatomic particles.

All of the organs that need the nutrients that we take and the minerals, the bones, the tissues, all of that stuff is there. They called cells. If there's blockages, then it's not getting to places. But when we open up our breath, very awarely, open up our breath. And that's the inhale and the exhale two parts. awarely?

      I don't think that's a word.

When we've, when we are very aware about opening up our breath, that's the inhale and the exhale together. Two parts of one hole equaling one breath. All of these systems fire back online, which is that vitality component. It can also bring focus and attention into what we're doing at the moment, getting into that present moment.

Yeah. And that's a whole other video. Yeah, too. Yeah. Getting into present moment, what does that really mean? And that allows our bodies to function much more optimally. Ultimately, it can calm the mind, reduce stress, bolster the immune system, increase lung capacity and improve mental clarity. Who doesn't want those things?

In addition, Natalie briefly touched on movement. Movement is also very essential to life. We are meant to move. Everything is meant to move. Even grass growing very slowly is movement, water, air, all these things move and it is very essential. Living a sedentary lifestyle is going to have some very negative impact on us.

Conversely, has had. The driving, it's not walking anymore. Sitting, driving, sitting at your desk all day. Yeah. And then going home, being so tired sitting on the couch. Now rest is important of course, but the constant inactivity just does really negative things to our body. Conversely. Too much movement.

What Natalie was speaking to, going to the gym, pushing yourself, running miles per day and just overworking yourself. Overworking your body is going to add stress to your body. So we have to find that balance. So restorative, low intensity movement can build strength while decreasing the stress on the nervous system.

So that's practices like yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi they build strengths like strength

training even, and some intensity sometimes is good too, if you want to build some strength and get your blood flowing. But we have to be careful to not overextend that. So the vitality component comes in when we have that balance.

Yeah, that balance of restorative and strengthening. Lastly, I just wanna touch on water. So food is essential to us. We know that, and there's a million people talking about this diet, that diet. What's good for you nutrient wise. But not a lot of people are talking about water. There's a lot of talk about clean water, but what does that really mean?

Because it's clear. No, that doesn't mean it's clean.

There's living water. And dead water.

Pristine. Pure water. Yeah. Versus essentially inorganic water that's full of toxins. You need extremely filtered water, not just filtered water. It needs to be extremely filtered to the 0.00 micron level that's gonna get out all of the rust, dust and funk from the pipes themselves, from our water systems. Toxins and chemicals and all the gnarly stuff out. Have to get chlorine and all of these additives like fluorides and things like that out. So extremely filtered.

Reverse osmosis is going to help pull a lot of that stuff out too. To that 0.001 micron level. Deionized the water. Now this talking about the charge of the water and that can get very complex and scientific if you wanna look that up. There's lots of information out there, but that's going to remove acids. So there's lots of acidity in the water that we drink, and that is not good for our vitality.

      We don't want acidic bodies.

We want more alkaline. Alkaline. We bodies, just like the batteries that we buy. That are charged, they're alkaline batteries. There's a similar kind of relationship that our body holds in terms of the power, the fueling system in us for vitality is that alkaline component.

So we need to get those acids out and that's where deionizing comes in.

      Yeah.

And after you get all the funk out and you get the water to this homeostasis point, it still is not really alive. We need to bring minerals back into it. Think about a stream meandering down through the mountains, touching all the rocks and mosses and all these things picking up soils, all of these minerals.

And when you think of spring water that is really truly pure and a lot of people market on their bottles spring water, but you gotta question what spring? The

reality of that. But a real spring coming outta the mountains and we live in the mountains and there's springs all over the place is one on our property actually.

And it. It bubbles out this amazingly beautifully  crystal clear water. And it has all of those, that life giving quality that's bubbling from the earth itself into this water.  So there are powders and things that you can add into the water to remineralize the water. Like magnesium, bicarbonates, magnesium, potassium.

Yeah. Bicarbonates and salts. Sodiums, calciums, potassiums. A lot of the ums, the i ums. And then after that point, it still is not truly alive. It's gonna give us the nutrients that we need, but it needs that life, that spark of life, that vitality, which is what A spiral. A spiral. A

      spiral.

So again, looking back at  the way stream and moves in these twists and turns and ups and downs and constantly  zigzagging and spiraling around versus the straight lines and corners of our modern day piping system.

Very different quality. So structuring the water. Yeah. Which is really vortexing,

adding that  spiraling component back into the water, bubbling it up.  Not in a carbonated sense, but in a effervescent, vitality induced state. And there's a lot of devices around that too, that you can get. So adding that structuring in is key.

      Yeah.

And that's going to help bring that vitality back into us by just by drinking that kind of water. This extremely filter, deionized, reverse osmosis, remineralize, restructured water. It sounds intense, but those are the things that natural, there are devices that

do all those things so you don't have to have 20 different things.

Yeah. We'll put a link to one in the comments. That's a great one to use. Yeah,

we, so here's an example. We found a little kitten and we nursed it back to health because.  We noticed that it had worms when we got him, and we've only, we only had him a, like a week before we found a family for him. And I literally had a tincture ready to, to get the worms out and help him pass and just, get his little GI tract back on track and within two, three days. He just by drinking water. He was drinking that water, the water that we just talked about, because that's the system that we have too. He was completely clear of the worms. So the parasitic nature of a lot of things in this world, which we won't go into in this video can't live in that kind of environment. Cannot live in a pure. Organic, pristine environment. So the water at a very found, like almost at the most basic of basic levels is one of the most profound for the body.

And we are made of structured water. Essentially, all of our cells are probably heard. The body consists of 70% water and those numbers can vary, but we are a lot of water.

All of our cells are made of water, our organs made of water, and but structured water.

Yes, And that's how everything's held together into this material ness that we can touch and pinch and poke and prod. That's how it holds together is the structuring of things.

So what does vitality really do?

I think this, we could come up with our own unique flavors, all of us in this world that we would actually say it does different things for us, but. When I think about this, it really makes me think of more of the primordial essences of literally how all things are brought together, which is through the sacred energies, masculine and feminine energies.

But it's this rhythm of life. It's this magic, and it's, it allows us to grow, it allows us to have prosperity. It allows us to have pure nourishment to do the things that we want to do. It's the same feeling that I would say, when I've traveled the astral realms and, as we've gotten more into our work and we do Qigong together and we're, when you're really tapped into this infinite oneness that this eternal and infinite, I mean that what vitality allows us to do is to feel that and to realize that.

And that is a, again, those are, that's one of those feelings that it's once you touch that. That you don't want to be disconnected from that. And so it's almost this organic way of building discipline in our lives, discipline and structure to want to strive for this kind of organic, natural way of being and living.

In terms of getting a sense of vitality within us, after we do these things that can help achieve that, it can bring a sense of awakening, a sense of greater awareness, more conscious thoughts, more balanced thought patterns can help balance the emotions.

That's a huge component of becoming a balanced, holistic oneness with yourself is. Balancing those emotions and not getting stuck in the fear, the anger, the anxiety, the stress, flow. And we can feel those things, but understanding things rise and fall like the tides, right? And so we can get a better understanding of our own true nature when we can calm down the nervous system, when we can be more balanced from a physiological standpoint.

We can also open up our spiritual awareness, whatever that might mean for you and for some that could be a religion. For some that can be some sort of tradition. For some that can be just an awareness to the cosmos outside themselves and within themselves at the same time. It can be a lot of different things, but it can help open up that awareness.

And awaken what is inherently inside you. Yeah. And that splendor. That is within you, that can become imprisoned in us through layers of muck and goo through this world, through conditioning, through any kind of societal or familial or socioeconomic pressures that we may find ourselves having to achieve something or be a certain place, be a certain person and put this facade on.

It can strip that off and get down to that core layer. Of who you truly are, which can unveil your passions, your purpose in life, and realign you with doing something in this world that you're meant to do, rather than falling into a profession or a career that feels very not you and so it can elevate those emotions and those desires and those wishes and those just being able to feel all the things within you and become more holistic within yourself and within your relationships and within whatever career path you choose.

And all of the things that might feel a little bit broken or misaligned in life. Your physical health, even to some degrees too. It can just help if we're out here and we want to dial in, like you're dialing that radio knob, getting static, and finally dial into that clear signal.

      That's vitality.

Yeah. Yep. And when you feel those things. And that's this word, whole wholesome comes back into play. And when you feel whole, you feel more at one like you said, with yourself, but also with other things. And that inner strength, this vibrancy, this energy, this, aliveness. It's, I always think of it as effervescence when you, pop open something with carbonation and you have the bubbles on the top.  That to me is if I were to say, if you could look at vitality.

That would be what vitality would look like, is that bubbly effervescence that is so alive  and just invigorated in that spirit of whatever, that thing is Not flat.

Not Flat, yeah. Completely the opposite of flat.

Thank you for tuning in to this video. Please subscribe we're going to bring more and more content around forging  and flowing through life, and we just want to always drop this in. While being healers and in the world of these healing modalities.

It's a wonderful service, but we want everyone to remember that it's about each of us taking responsibility for our own being, for our own healing, because you actually heal yourself.
